Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Sunday proposed the creation of a regional cooperation organization to be named the 'Organization for Economic Development'. According to him, the new structure is aimed at fostering economic prosperity and development in the countries of Central Asia. Mirziyoyev noted that the region has great potential and a platform is needed to realize it. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between countries to address common challenges. 'We must unite our efforts to build a prosperous future,' the president said. The initiative was announced within the framework of the Summit of Heads of State of Central Asia.
