The international project for the development of sustainable agricultural systems in the degraded areas of Karakalpakstan has won the competition. This program was recognized as the best among other sustainable proposals presented within the framework of the European competition.
Within the project framework, it is planned to restore fertile soil and water resources in the region, as well as to implement innovative methods of agriculture. Additionally, work will be conducted on the conservation and restoration of biodiversity in the degraded areas of Karakalpakstan.
One of the key components of the project is the training of local farmers in modern agricultural methods and the introduction of new technologies. Work within the program will begin in the near future, and project participants are expected to make positive contributions to the development of sustainable agriculture in Karakalpakstan.
